Id rather give my life “up” for my children and family then waste it on guys who would probably cheat on me and friends who will stab me in the back. There’s only so much pointless partying and oyher shit you can do at 20+ that you’ve already been doing since you were 14, and just because you have kids doesn’t mean you have to lose yourself.

Family/kids or friends, guys, and pointless partying? I feel sorry for the people who think this is all that your 20’s have to offer. What about finding yourself and who you want to be as an adult? A career maybe? Something you love to do? Traveling or studying while you have the means and physical ability to? I’m 25; I’m not a party-goer though I like to go out on occasion…I have no children, no husband, fiance, or boyfriend and I like it that way…I have a career that I absolutely love and I know exactly who I am though I am always learning and changing. If a family and/or kids is what I’m supposed to have or otherwise I should be out partying, fucking, or screwing around then I’m doing it wrong. And thank god for that.
This is why I love him. Because he fucked up. He fucked up big time. Addicted to practically everything under the sun. Depressed, certainly, in a downward spiral. And he did his time, he did his time and came out this beautiful, inspirational guy who basically shoved his demons into the spotlight and danced the fuck around with them and gave everyone who doubted him the finger in the end. That picture up there, in that hideous orange thing, that’s part of his legacy. And some people may think thats not anything you want in your legacy to the world, but if you ask me it just shows he’s a brave motherfucker, and he’s a strong one, and he’s bludgeoning those demons with a metal bat.
